Maintaining air ducts can result in a healthier environment in your home or office.  The quality of the air in your building is directly related to the cleanliness of your air ducts. We know, with over two decades of experience, how important it is to make sure that your HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) units are regularly cleaned of contaminants.  If it’s in your air ducts, it’s in your lungs. To ensure the safety and health of your family and/or employees be sure to hire a reputable professional duct cleaning company. Glendale Air Duct Cleaning uses state-of-the-art power vac trucks and HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Absorption) vacuum systems.  Not only will your air be cleaner to breath, you will be extending the life of your HVAC system and saving money on energy bills because your system will be running at its full capacity.

Why should you have your air ducts and HVAC system cleaned regularly?

  1. First and foremost, it should be clean for health reasons. Our name says it all… Better Air Quality.  Let us remove the contaminants, mold, fungi, bacteria and very small dust particles from your ducts that cause allergies and even health issues.
    2. It will allow your system to run more efficiently by removing debris in the components.  Efficient systems have a longer life span, are less likely to break down, and operate more effectively.

How often should my air ducts be cleaned?

  1. There is no one-size fits all answer to this.  It should be done as a proactive maintenance routine to insure clean air in your home or office.  One of our Cleaning Specialists will be able to guide you in choosing the right routine for your system.
    2. Besides regular routine, you may experience an event or change in your structure that may warrant your system to be cleaned.  For example, any renovations or remodeling that has recently been done, if you suspect water has entered your duct work (perhaps from a leak), fire within the building or nearby, or some type of infestation (insect or rodent).

NADCA Members have signed a Code of Ethics stating they will do everything possible to protect the consumer, and follow NADCA Standards for cleaning to the best of their ability. Air duct cleaning companies must meet stringent requirements to become a NADCA Member. Among those requirements, all NADCA Members must have certified Air System Cleaning Specialists (ASCS) on staff, which have taken and passed the NADCA Certification Examination. Passing the exam demonstrates extensive knowledge in HVAC design and cleaning methodologies. ASCSs are also required to further their industry education by attending seminars in order to maintain their NADCA certification status.

Any building in Glendale / Los Angeles that lacks proper ventilation can easily become the source of a wide range of dangerous and costly problems. Most of the times, the lack of or improper cleaning of the AC, ventilation and heating unit poses a high risks to people inside the building, since it’s only a matter of time until bacteria, mold and dust begin to form. In any building where there’s little to no ventilation, the chances of these contaminants to spread are high and they can wreak havoc on the health of employees. Most of the times, the building owners have poor excuses for not maintaining the ventilation system properly, while others claim it’s too expensive and time consuming.

But as a business owner, you should know that a badly ventilated environment can only negatively affect your employees’ performance. According to the EPA, if the heating and cooling coils of your HVAC gather enough dust and contaminants, not only can these severely reduce its performance, but also pose severe health risks to everyone in the building. As an employer, you probably know that paying sick days is not good for the company.
